You get what you pay for on this goat track

This course could use some drastic improvements all around. First, none of the holes are marked and there is minimal signage to direct you to the next hole. The hole location isn't obvious, so you have to search for the next tee. The fairways are pretty narrow and when you do manage to hit one, they aren't well kept. The fairway length is consistent with most "second cuts" at other facilities. The rough lives up to its name as it consists of thistle and large crab grass which will swallow your ball. There are quite a few blind shotspot, which I found interesting on a mainly par 3 course. We paid 5 per person, plus another 7 for a riding cart. I can see now, why it was so cheap. The one positive is that the staff were friendly when we arrived.

NEVER play this course

The Woodland Hills Executive opened about 2 and a half weeks ago and I can only imagine it will be open another 2 and a half weeks based on demand and overall quality. The greens are long and slow with chunks out of them filled in with sand. Rough does not exist on this course. It is fairways covered in weeds next to 4 foot tall brush. I wouldn't play this course for free. Never play the Woodland Hills Executive Course. You'll thank me later.
