Best Municipal Course in SE Iowa
Well-cared for greens, not too challenging hole layouts that require just enough imagination, and a good pace of play brings this course to the top of the list for municipal courses where the weekend golfer can still shoot a good round for a fair price on a beautifully-manicured course.
High Grass
The fairways had not been mowed since Thursday so we spent time looking for balls in high grass in the fairway - but other than that it is a nice course that I like to play

Friendly staff with outstanding maintenance of course. Everyone was courteous and kind. I would highly recommend Flint Hills.

I have been playing this course for years. You cant beat the price. The course is in really good shape this year.
Great value
Enjoyed the course and hospitality. Was able to schedule a tee time around a very busy league day and the staff was open to accommodating the 18 holes to fit the potential slow play.
Great Experience
We have tried a variety of courses in the area and this was one of the easiest to get to know. Excellent cart paths led us from one hole to the next. #11 has two choices - one with water and one without. Several challenging holes but overall it was a friendly course. We definitely look forward to another 18 holes soon.
