Nice golf course
The course was in great shape. The weather was great. The only thing I would do different would be the vending machines should be up and operational or a golf cart girl driving around serving drinks or snacks.
Really well played out course with great drainage and great conditions
The course is sweet but getting very crowded and with the GPS carts it’s like you playing in controlled environment. Only warning is on cart which when you driving up looking for ball will lock you up where your cart don’t move. No signs on course and cart don’t beep when getting close to boundaries they have setup. At times it really tics you off. I heard so many people stuck swearing at the gps controlled system . I guess only way to control knukklheads to lazy to walk but give a warning beep before your locked out
Mid December Golf
For the middle of December the course was in pretty decent shape. The greens were not fast but played about medium. The pace of play was somewhat slow as it took our foursome about 4 1/2 hrs to finish 18. Especially at this time of year. I guess it just depends on what golfers are in front of you. We ordered food on the 8th and when we arrived at the clubhouse to get our food we were informed that they didn't have brats even though it was listed on the cart to order. Also, when we arrived at the clubhouse, we had to wait because our food wasn't ready, 2 hotdogs and chips. Sure, I know that's trivial bs to most but just had to mention it. I've played here quite often and each time out is a different scenario. To be expected.
Not at hidden gem in Indiana
We stopped here as part of a golf road trip recently and we were blown away by the quality of the course. It is very well maintained and the staff were all exceptional.
Pace of play was a little slow as to be expected on a holiday weekend.
Definitely planning to go back for one of their well priced stay and play packages.
Didn't get to try the restaurant but heard from a few regulars on the porch that the menu was top notch.
Masters of the Midwest
Course was in perfect condition I was a single and played with some good people. The course was fun to play the layout was great definitely would play again.
Absolutely great!
This may be the best public course in the Chicagoland market for the money. Simply a wonderful place to play.
GREAT COURSE
Had the pleasure of meeting Andy Simpson and Lauren
Thanks for the hospitality l get every time l play golf at
SANDY PINES…..Jimmy the starter was excellent and got me teeing off right away…I’ve told many veterans l golf with every week in Illinois to drive out and play one of the best well kept golf courses around..
Thanks for another great round..Matt B.
The flowers and greenery around the course were beautiful.
We’ve played Sandy Pines before and always enjoy not only the course but their food is also very good.
A Gem Close to Home
What a gem of a course! Beautiful layout and a beautiful setting. Super fast greens and drop-offs that took some getting used to. Fairways and rough well maintained and nice sand traps for the few times I had to hit out of them. Some holes allowed you to swing away, but plays much better if you are strategic and practice course management. Played with 2 regulars that gave great advice on where to approach the greens and how the greens rolled. I cannot wait to return with some friends and enjoy it all over again.
Beautiful course, fun, great value
Got a Hot Deal for $40 and could not have had a better time. This course is very well-maintained, the layout is super fun, the carts are nice. Pace of play was fast. Range was nice. Greens are quick and smooth. Play here ASAP!
Tremendous, very surprised
Didn’t expect much but wow was I wrong, great facility, tremendous course conditions and good people
Hidden Gem
I play courses all around the Midwest and this ranks amongst best around
The staff at the restuarant was not friendly. The food was also not great. The couse was in good shape. The starter was great. We got kicked off the corse at 7:45 and we could only play 13 holes in total. Ther was planty of sun left-we did not get clarity as to why?
Course and Staff
STAFF ALWAYS THE BEST
COURSE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION
