Father’s Day weekend disaster
Not sure what happened but no pull carts no golf carts. 60min delay. Not sure they know how to manage a golf course on busy weekends. Probably should have shut off tee times in golf now.
Letting a group of 9 go out when only 4 are golfing?
Wasted my day!
Challenging holes abound
If you like easy courses, don't come here.
If you like wide open fairways, don't come here.
If you like flat slow greens, don't come here.
But....if you like a challenge with interesting holes and scenery....do come here.
Challenging gem and great value
Great layout and very challenging from the tips. A lot of water. Course is in great shape, odd pro shop and restaurant location.
Nice Course
Midlane is a nice course, and challenging. Make sure you bring enough golf balls for all the water hazards.
Fun Lay Out Lots of Water
This was a pleasant course. Not overly long unless you play the gold tees, the course layout is very interesting with many bunkers, water and tight fairways. Some parts of the course were water damaged and the traps were filled with stones and pebbles. But there was lots of wildlife, lots of water and scenic holes.
The greens were very slow and fairly damaged. It was a fun course to play.
great course
usually pace moves well.
very challenging.
A couple of holes have some standing water but that has always been that way.
Challenges you on every hole
Great course layout. A little wet in some areas from rain, but fairways were good and greens were very good. Lots of water holes that add cariture & challenge. Recommend this course.
Course to myself
I don’t know why, but this course always has available tee times. On a 75 degree Sunday morning I legitimately had the entire course to myself. It’s always in great shape, they have a fantastic range, and the layout is pleasantly challenging. If I ever play as a single I always play here because I know I will not get held up. For these reasons, this course gets a 5 out of 5
Maybe time to say goodbye to Midlane
The course has seen it’s better days, and its been up for sale for at least a couple years now. It would still be a great course if it were taken care of but sadly that’s not the case. Trees on 7 might tip over at anytime due to beavers eating them up. All the bunkers have rocks in them (not pebbles, ROCKS), no one fixing their divots or pitch marks, even saw a few divots on the greens 3 ft from the hole. Yes divots. Pace of play was bad last time I went, with the group in front of us quitting saying there’s no way they could play at that pace. Finally paper printed scorecards. We get it, gotta try and reduce overhead costs somewhere but charging over $50 with everything previously listed is a tough sell. No worries, they got my money last weekend but never again.
Wow
Very beautiful, challenging course! Could of used CART GPS. Not always sure best direction/distance as many hazards out of view and not clear on black and white scorecard.
Great Value
Can’t get a better deal for an early weekend morning round. Played 18 by myself in just under two hours. Greens were very nice which is all I usually am looking for. Bunkers need help but at $65 you get what you pay for. Nice layout, challenging without being too tight. I’m a 10 HC and it was very enjoyable.
Time has taken its toll
Unfortunately the course needs some tender loving care. The sand traps s are in a state of disrepair. The course has a nice design but you can see the lack of management all around. No water to drink. No personnel on staff to assist with your cart or bag placement. Dead bird on the course. Tons of duck crap all around.
