Situated just 40 miles southwest of Chicago's Loop, Broken Arrow Golf Club is one of the area's most popular public courses. There are a total of 27 holes of championship golf, divided into tree nines: the South, East, and North. The courses, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations, each have a distinct character and different set of challenges. The South/East combination begins with one of the tougher nines. Broken Arrow's South Course allows you to tour the site's landmarks from its former days as a farm. You'll play by the silo and historic farmhouse, both of which are visible from every tee. The East nine provides a beautiful contrast to the front nine with a landscape that is closer to Florida than southwest Chicago. On the back nine, the second shot will be very important. Be prepared for tough approaches into rolling, bunkered greens.
