Course No. 4 at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club has long been considered one of the best public courses in the country. Nicknamed "Dubsdread," the Dick Wilson/Joe Lee-designed course features tight fairways, undulating greens and 110 bunkers. And it's even tougher now after a 2008 renovation by architect Rees Jones that repositioned some bunkers, added some new tees (par 71, 7,386 yards) and repositioned a couple of ponds and greens.
