Minne Monesse Golf Course

After playing here for over 35 years, this year the pace has been the worst ever. they are booking solid,and while I understand having new golfers, and slow play, but the field has been poor players who have no idea on how to be golf ready. A ranger needs to be moving things along, and not denying the pace is inadequate. When I mentioned pace of play, manager said I should expect 5 1/2 hours on the weekend. If that comes from the manager, no wonder everyone is slow. They allows non-playing kids on the greens running around

This was my second time at this course and both times I was impressed. It's well maintained, the staff is friendly, the course is nice and challenging at times. Overall it was a great day golfing for all of us that went out to this course and we're sure to go again, and when they have deals such as these it allows the seniors that are on fixed incomes to enjoy a day out at a fantastic course for a very reasonable price.

I enjoyed my round of golf at Minne Monesse. Course layout was a bit challenging yet a fun course to play. I look forward to playing this course in the immediate future.

Layout is a good mix of long and short holes for each of the three categories of par. But course conditioning seemed a bit lacking. Fairways were too long and the greens were not cut to a consistent length. Also, targets and distances to hazards are not provided where needed. Not the best course in the county, but not the worst. A fair value.

This course is at the top of my list. Lots of mature trees, great water hazards. Always an enjoyable day at Minnie Monesse.

There was an outing going on. There should never be tee times on Golf Now when outings are taking place. It took me 5.5 hours to golf by myself. Unacceptable!!!

Came as a threesome and it took 5 hrs. Actually it would have took longer but we quit after 16. Im pretty sure we were behind a foursome of members that would not let us go through. Course conditions were way below average which is bad because every course in areas in great conditions after this summer. Inside clubhouse is really out dated and it felt like we stepped back into the 1970's. My group crossed this course off our list to play.

Nice course. Long. Every time I play here we walk right up and tee off. It's hardly backed up. Doesn't have great amenities but if ou wanna play a solid round of golf wiout a wait for under $40 this is a great place

The fairways are not tightly mown and hence you can't get much spin on the ball but the greens were relatively receptive and in excellent condition. The greens were slow but the putts ran true and the balls did not bounce to the hole. You need to be precise on many of your drives because of the narrow fairways and there was a good mix of short and long par 4s. A couple of quirky holes but overall a nice change a pace and with the coupon a good not great value.

Great course for the cost on Golf Now. Plenty challenging and well kept.

This course was outstanding!! The elevation changes and views were amazing. The grounds were in pretty good condition. Greens were well maintained. We kinda got a little bogged down to begin the round as a few groups were in front of us, but it eventually spread out so that the pace of play was good. Kinda a hike to get to the course, but well worth it. The 18th hole is a lotta fun when there are people out on the balcony of the clubhouse. The hole is pretty straight forward, but it leads right up to the base of the balcony. Nothing like having people who have had a few "beverages" cheering/jeering your shots!! Gives u somewhat of a feel of how the pros feel on tour with spectators. Had a blast!!

This is a nice course. It has enough water to make things interesting.

Occasional blind shots and elevated, smallish greens provide a nice golf challenge. Great value by using golfnow.com.

Played in about three and half hours on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed the rolling hills which is hard to find in Illinois and the course had a fair amount of hazards from hole to hole. Greens were very, very slow and sand was hard, otherwise it was a well maintained course. One of the better courses around Kankakee/Bourbonnais area.

it was a nice relaxing round. pace was fine.
overall course was in good shape. only issue greens seemed to be slower than normal.

from the elevated tee boxes, to the rolling hills, this course has everything to challenge your game.

Each hole is unique. The course winds up, down and around hills with elevated tee boxes and greens.

Course is always in top form, rates are reasonable, Food and service fantastic. The rolling terrain, along with many mature trees, and several holes with water make for one challenging round. Well worth a trip from any location to play.
