Buena Vista Golf Course

Great quick 9 course nestled in a residential neighborhood, but far enough away to play freely.

Some of the greens have a little damage but looks weather related. Otherwise it's a clean course and very easy to follow. Depending on the golfer, 9-holes should take about 2hrs even with a cart.

Great course for the money. Nothing special, course is simple but still a lot of fun. Good course for beginners too.

I’ve golfed this course for 4 years now and this year it has really changed. Sand traps have multiple weeds, fairways are full of weeds and clover. Edges of greens are dirt and weeds. Lots of branches down around the course from storms weeks ago. Looks like broken water main on 8 and 9. Some areas blocked off for several weeks now because of it. Staff is super friendly, and that’s what keeps me going back.

Seems like the emphasis is to take care of the other DeKalb course and for whatever reason ignore this course. Sad, used to be a nicely kept course.

Course was not busy and in good shape. Pace of play was excellent. Excellent way to spend a Saturday morning.

I played the course on both a Tuesday and a Thursday. I really enjoyed both rounds. It is not extremely tough but can be challenging. My wife will join me out there next season as she is just getting started yo play and this course is perfect to learn on. Nice people and not expensive.

Found this course later in the year and enjoyed playing it with my father. The warm and welcoming staff in the pro shop made it a very enjoyable first-time visit. This course will definitely help you improve your game and can serve as a great place to work on your swing. What I enjoyed most was the relaxed, non-snobby attitude I have seen at other courses. Thank you for a great round.

This course looked bad , weeds , greens where brown and fairways where dead as dirt

This is a nice family short course especially for walkers. However my wife and I walked it today and it took 2:15 minutes. They let singles, doubles and 4 some s out with beginner playing out of another's bag. Probably will not go back. It was very hot walking but should have not been a issue with some pace on the course. Singles on a busy day should always be paired up on a busy day period. Beginner should be on the driving range on a busy day not on the course.

Should be cheaper so you can bring family to learn to play.

Unable to find balls due to rough being so long.

Sporty 9 hole layout with an additional fun 9 hole pitch & putt course. Driving range, chipping green and practice putting green. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you can work around the leagues and peak times you can play in about an hour! Oddly, Saturday and Sunday mornings are usually quite open, when suburban courses are over booked!
