Exactly what you'd expect from a 9 hole course in Austin. For the price and location it isn't bad, but if you go a bit higher on expenses it would be worth it to go elsewhere.
Needs more work
Lots of dry patches in fairways. Ppl are friendly and accommodating.

Columbus Park Golf
1st tee of the 2021 season. Course was in good condition. Great for beginners to intermediate players. Pace was slow due to the beautiful weather. Will be returning since I am still beginner.

Wow the grounds crew has been busy
All the standing water issues this course has had in the past are completely repaired. The bunkers have been completely redone (drainage and fine silica sand). Tees are in good shape, greens were always passable but now look fabulous. Every greenskeeping aspect has been improved to some extent.
Good after work course
Usually get out around 2-3 on days I can get out of work somewhat early. More spread out than some forest preserve courses so less lost balls. Usually not too busy

All around fun
Well maintained public course. I heard weekends get busy for pace of play, but I played a weekday afternoon and finished in slightly more than an hour.
