Golf Moose
Another event by Golf Moose on 7/10. We had a wonderful afternoon. Read my review below...conditions were the same except they are in the process of refurbing sand traps which are like playing out of quicksand right now....Do not pass up Aurora CC if you're invited to play it.
Wonderful
Played via a Golf Moose deal - shot gun but casual stroke play. We had a wonderful day. Impeccable old school conditions. Small smooth fast greens. In fact just a shade too fast for 3 or 4 of the flag positions. We had a few that got to the hole and came back a bit. Also a few where if you were above the hole you had a very small chance to keep it within 5 feet with local knowledge or a few plays under your belt. For that I can't give the course a full five stars. 4.8.
Downstroke to join is around 10K. A great value if you lived nearby.. There are couple of short fours on this course that are monsters. If you're ever invited to play Aurora CC don't pass it up.
