Beautiful location
Course was scenic,! Great value! Will go back next year!
Great 9 hole course!
Excellent 9 hole course with gorgeous views. It’s tucked away outside of Kellogg so it tends to be quiet and less crowded.
9holeheaven
We love the place.2 par 5's are challenging.highly recommend.
Hidden jem.
Quiet, peaceful and beautiful views.
Greens are in excellent shape.
great little mountain course
i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this 9 hole course in the middle of small town Idaho. met a couple of guys that were members while playing. greens were in great shape and the fairways were immaculate. i would play this course again.
Beautiful Course
Hilly course, but we walked and our foursome only took 3.5 hours to play 18. Gorgeous mountain views and course is in good shape. Friendly staff and locals. Highly recommend.
Not good not bad day
I was somewhat tired when I started the round, I was very tired when I finished and that affected my swing and game along with my attitude on the back nine. Had some great drives and some bad drives. The worse was I could not get an iron shot to stick the green just hot and dry green's and fast. Just a bump of the putter would send the ball past the hole and to the edge of the green on down hill lies. Anyway not there to brake any records got plenty of exercise have to take the good days with the bad such is life.
Challenging course
I play Shoshone a few times every year. The course is in the best condition I’ve seen. It’s not a course for beginners. It’s very challenging with some tight shots required accompanied by elevation changes and uneven lies. I enjoy the friendly staff and the relaxed and rustic atmosphere.
Don't walk 18 holes on a hilly course.
The weather was nice, course great, my game started out ok but towards the the back half of the back nine was allmost out of energy. You see this course is basically a nine hole coures with some extra tee boxes and tee placements to make it an 18 hole course, with two holes sharing the same green. You start out on a high hill with hills in the middle and a high hill you walk up to befor you head back to the Club house to complete the front nine then the back nine is the same with a little variation. Walk this course with a push cart and you will regret it. Best way if you want some exercise walk the front nine and cart the back. Oh and bring some bug spray I recieved three bad black fly bites that still ich after two days. The only thing I would like to see is the leading edge to the green be mowed shorter. If you hit short of the green and try to chip up the grass is longer and facing down hill very hard to chip up. Enjoy the scenery very picturesque.
Had a blast. Fun course.
Course has challenges but is very fair. Greens were very nice. Gem in the woods for sure.
Hidden Gem
This a great course and one of the best values in the Inland Northwest. Every time I golf here, I have a great experience and leave with a big smile on my face. My wife and daughter love to golf here as well because the pace of play doesn't stress them out.
The setting on top of the mountain is awesome.
Challenging 9 hole course
This is a hidden little gem. A fun and challenging 9 hole course with great views in the Silver Valley of Idaho. I walked 18 holes and it was a quite the workout. The greens were pristine but the fairways need some attention in spots, but it is early in the season. It's a nice varied layout with a lot of elevation changes requiring good shot making. If you hit the ball off line a lot, expect to lose some balls. Overall, it's a fun course for the money.
Beautiful Mountainous Course!
It was a little crowded, but it was Father's Day. It is worth it though because it is one of the most beautiful places to play.
Beautiful location above the Silver Valley
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed playing this course with the challenging greens and narrow fairways.
