Description
Situated along the north shores of Kauai, Makai Golf Club at the St. Regis Princeville Resort offers stunning views of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed the golf course in 1971 and came back more than 30 years later to make renovations. He made the course even more challenging by reconfiguring the green complexes, adding length to some holes, and reshaping the bunkers. The signature hole has always been the par-3 seventh. While it may require a tricky tee shot over rocky cliffs, the incomparable mountain and ocean views are a pleasant reward. In addition to the 18-hole course, Makai Golf Club also features the Woods Course, a nine-hole practice course that is perfect for family play and beginners.
