Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., the Stonemont Course is the more difficult play of the two 18-hole layouts at Stone Mountain Golf Club just outside of Atlanta. The course plays 6,863 yards from the back tees and features narrow fairways, plenty of sand traps and loads of Georgia pines. To go low, your tee shots must be accurate. Don't look for a break on the par-3 holes, which are long and unforgiving. The occasional player is probably more suited to the friendlier Lakemont Course at Stone Mountain G.C.
