Of the two golf courses at Stone Mountain Golf Club just northeast of Atlanta, the Lakemont layout if the most forgiving. Playing 6,444 yards from the back tees, this par-71 John LaFoy design features spectacular views of the carving on the side of Stone Mountain. Don't get distracted, however: Water lurks everywhere. No. 3, a 408-yard par 4, is perhaps the hardest hole on the course. It requires an approach shot to carry a creek in front of the green. The lake is behind the hole, which makes is a scenic place to take a bogey.
