Quality course
For the money it’s a quality course. It’s winter golf still and course is playing nice. Greens and boxes could use some extra love, but fair course!
Can't wait for Spring and green grass
This place is great! I will be back many times in the future.
funky but fun layout
some short, easy holes - some tough, long holes, course drains well even after a lot of rain
Great layout-needs some TLC
This is one of my favorite courses to play because of the layout. It’s fun and challenging. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. My only knock is the course conditions are not always the best. It does green up in the warmer months, but year around the greens are never consistent speeds and there are a lot of bare areas around the course. It doesn’t deter me from playing, but the course could use a little TLC.
Decent Course
Decent course for the money. Just about every hole is a blind tee shot and has lots of woods. Greens are pretty good for winter time. Customer service in the pro shop sucks!
Great course
Overall it was a great course and the pace was perfect. Only conplaint was a few spots that were pretty muddy but its febuary andit rained the day before so i wont hold it against them
kb
Challenge with the tightness and leaves . Greens had a velcro effect. Still fun
Good course, bad pace of play
3 hrs to play 10 holes. Multiple groups of 5 including the tee time I booked. Good course with a lot of blind shots.
Not my favorite.
Hills, blind shots, narrow fairways, small greens, forced lay-ups. Raised greens. It’s a plotters course for sure. Course knowledge is definitely a premium.
Nice course, but play was slow.
The course was in good condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course was backed up and play was slow. The group in front of us thought it was appropriate to hit two tee shots each on every hold. That's not the club's fault, but the pace of play made it a long day.
Return visit
I played this course 15-20 years ago when the course was named Royal Oaks. The course at the time on a scale to 10, would rate a 4-5. The course today on a scale to 10, would rate a 7-8. I think in the summer time when the grass grows out, it can become a 9-10. The condition of the course was in really good conditions considering the winter is beginning. I recommend this course and I will return.
