Suprisingly good pace of play, today, usually a big issue at this course. Grrens a little scruffy, recovering from aeration.

Disappointed that driving range was closed.Would not have booked if known that would be closed. Pace was slower than usual today. Foursome was holding pace up. Would not let others play through. This is not the norm. Will still play course again.

Great course lots of construction going on around the course

The course is in good shape and they just got new carts but the greens were just aerated on Tuesday.

This course is the best value for the money. I have played other courses that were much more expensive that were not as nice as this course. A must play for any golfer wanting the best value for their money. Average round runs from $25-$30 ; but they could easily demand more, and could get much more. was visiting family in the area. First time playing this course, but guarantee that I'll definitely play this couse again, every time I come to visit.

I enjoy this course, and it is in the best shape ever! Afterwards a great area for drinks and food looking over the foothills!

It’s a hard layout for me, but my son loves it. You’ll have to decide for yourself. The course was in great shape! Tee to green. The Bermuda greens are pretty fast. Decent driving range.

Don't make a bad shot! You have to be in the fairway for every next shot. Hills, cliffs, rough "ROUGH", bunkers...) very well positioned. Will be back to conquer this challenge!

I come from Vermont twice a year and I always try to find time to play here. The staff are great! I like that they have driving range for warm-ups. Challenging but fairways for the most part are mostly wide open and forgiving. Good for me. And there are some fabulous views.

Had a downpour on 16 and didn't finish the last 3 holes. The 4 playing behind us kept playing up on us and after finally letting them play through, a twosome played up us and they went through. Then we ended up getting caught behind those groups and the rain then hit us hard. 2 of the guys in my group were super slow also.Course is almost a mountain type course with cliffs and valleys, lots of terrain, making shot making a premium. The greens were bumby in spots but for the most part, rolled fast. There were some greens that had browned and appeared to be lost...but it didn't affect the pin placements. The fairways were full of grass, I'll play it again sometime.

From not knowing where to drive the cart to not knowing where to drive the ball, this course will drive you crazy. It is not very long but that is made up for by the amount of knowledge that you need in order to manipulate the course. Many hills lead to many elevated tee shots and greens which are hard to play without some local knowledge. The course has beautiful views and was in great shape and couldn’t have asked for better pace of play.

I have played over 50 courses and this ranks inside my top 20!

The course was in excellent shape. I have played here many times because it is close to where I live. I have many choices within 10 miles of my home but I like the layout and the price for an afternoon 9 cannot be beat. Give it a try. Already booked for next Friday.

Seems they have tournament/league on Tuesdays, so that tends to back things up. Course itself in good shape. Tees, fairways, and greens all green. Bunkers in good shape. Greens are always firm and fast at Canton. Staff friendly.
