The course has been named among the "Best Public Golf Courses in Florida" by GOLF Magazine, and Golf Digest tabbed it as being among "America's Top 50 Courses For Women." Travel + Leisure Golf SouthWood one of the top 10 courses of the new millennium, and Golf Digest included the club on its list of "America's Best New Courses."
