Course really taking shape!
I really enjoyed playing this course and seeing the improvements they have added. An excellent restaurant, nice outdoor seating, the pool is very nice and the course upkeep is very good.
The course is really taking shape as the fairways are starting to come in nicely and the tee boxes have improved but are being worked on. The greens are in pretty good shape with straight rolls and they are working on several of them that appeared to have been infested. All-in-all, it was a good experience the staff was extremely courteous in all areas. Well done and look forward to upgrading my reviews as the continued hard work continues to show!
Course was under water for the most part….greens were choppy and they had several temporary greens. Surprised that the course was open with the conditions.
Great Layout
We had perfect weather for February. The fairways were in better than expected condition. The greens were a bit shaggy and they were top-dressed, but in good condition. Would like to come back and play during the regular season. The holes were cut through the trees and ponds with very few houses backing to the course.
The Greens need work
Enjoyed playing St. Joseph. They like many courses ive played in the south have lost their greens. I still had a great time and will definitely play again.
Greens terrible, overall Below average
Very nice ladies working the desk in the morning. Only nice thing I can say. For $50 you get greens that are more sand than grass, very thin fairways and tee boxes. Only advantage they have is an hours drive to the next golf course, which is far superior to this one.
Hidden Gem
First time at this course. A little bit of a drive from PCB but we’ll worth it. A couple of greens needed a little work, but overall a very nice place to play.
Worth the money.
Greens could use some work. Had a great time and pace of play was nice
Way overpriced for what you get
I played this course before so I knew it wasn't anything special. A pretty generic layout and a small town beach course. Having said that the price was fifty bucks for 18 holes which I think is extremely high knowing the course. On top of that the course was in horrible condition. Most of the greens were covered with a fungus or some kind of virus and some greens had gigantic craters in them 2 or 3 in deep from whatever it was. It was impossible to even put on some greens they were so bad. You couldn't even find a line that had grass all the way to the hole. Definitely Andover price course but also the only option in that small area. Hello I would drive to Panama City and play a nice course if I did it over again. For the same money too.
