Ponte Vedra Golf & Country Club at Sawgrass, which sits just steps away from the ocean, encompasses a gently rolling landscape dotted with meandering lagoons and wetlands. The golf course underwent a redesign by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay that updated its features while maintaining the course's trademark playability. The course is tight with water coming into play on every hole, most notably on the challenging par-4 13th. Both the tree-lined fairways and the mildly undulating greens require proper shot placement and sharp short game skills. The 6,413-yard golf course is a true shot maker's course, featuring straight tee shots that are ideal for strong iron players. The course has the distinction of having two holes, the second and eighth, featured in the original "Dream 18," which was a compilation of Jacksonville's best holes.
