Cypress Course at the Grand Club: bunkers

Description

Gary Player designed the golf course to conform to the boundaries of native wetlands and natural lakes. At 6,591 yards, it's been called an "environmental masterpiece" that can be enjoyed by all players. The narrow fairways are lined with hazards that make reaching the greens in regulation a challenge, and the collection of par threes is the best you'll find anywhere. Extremely challenging course where target golf is the name of the game.

We played after a week of some heavy rain so, to rate the overall condition at this point in time might not be fair. It was ok, not spectacular. The greens were variable, some fast some molasses slow. ... more»
