Jack Nicklaus redesigned the 7,100-yard North-South Course at Grand Cypress Resort in 2007. Nicklaus, also the original architect when the course opened in 1984, added length, new greens, additional bunkers and a fresh look to a course that remains one of his very best layouts. Water comes into play on all but five holes, there are plenty of large oaks and pines, and bunkers are deep and numerous. The par 3s are picturesque, the par 5s are exceptional, and both nines end with difficult par 4s.
