About

Type Resort
Par 70
Length 6148 yards
Slope 125
Rating 69.0

The golf course at Seascape Golf Beach and Tennis winds through a series of freshwater and coastal dune lakes, naturally making water a prominent feature on the course. It comes into play on fifteen of the 18 holes. Besides the shimmering blue waters, the golf course is accented by the tall pines that blanket the softly rolling hills. The strategic placement of the greens and hazards require some careful maneuvering and accuracy. The course provides a fair challenge that is made all the more difficult by the distracting scenery, which includes views from most of the holes that stretch to the Gulf of Mexico. Golfers who are short on time have the option of a nine-hole round in the afternoons. In addition to the golf course, Seascape Resort also offers a grass driving range and two practice greens.

March 2024

This course had very friendly staff. That was really the only thing it had going. It’s only a 9 hole course and with the discount from Golf Now, it made it worth it; however, I would probably never pay the full price. Greens and fairways weren’t in the best conditions. It has a lot of potential with the location, just needs a little love.

Ok. Location close to beach best feature.

Very convenient to hotel. Course ok. Staff good. Price for 9 holes with the course conditions so so, is high. Overall not bad. Would go back if we stayed in same location.

Downhill

Course is a nine hole since front nine going to condos. Value of 9 holes is paying the same as 18. Can shop around and find better deals for 18 rather 9. Understand will return back to 18 just have to buy more land. Hoping it is soon.

Nice course, great value

We enjoyed everything about our round at Seascape.
The fairways were in good shape for the early season. Some of the greens could use a little TLC.
Looking forward to our next round.

Unputtable Greens

This course has been reduced from 18 holes to 9 since I last played it..The staff is extremely friendly and helpful but once you start the round it's downhill from there. The fairways are more sand than grass. I would estimate 25% of each green is dirt with no grass growing. The remainder is very patchy. It's impossible to keep a putt online due to all the bumps and gaps in the grass. My wife and I played there becasue we only looking for 9 holes on a course that wasn't busy, but there's a reason this has a lot of open tee times.. At $39 dollars for 9 holes and the condition it's in take a pass and go somewhere else, even if you get a golf now hot deal.

This course is in rough shape.

I've played here the past 3 years. It is very poorly maintained this year if at all.
It's hard to tell if the fairways have been watered this month or not, but it's the end of the winter season so they may not be on it yet.
The signs to show which hole you were on often missing, the cart paths were in very rough shape in multiple spots.
The greens were not in good shape on any hole.

Misleading

I was in error for not looking closely at golf now. It shows 9 holes for the listed price. I was offered to play another 9 holes but I would need to pay again as this is a 9 hole course because of front 9 being occupied for special event. It would have cost me a total cost of a 4 star course.

Good course, good price.

Good for advanced and weekend hackers. Not most challenging but still tough enough for moderate players.

9 HOLE ONLY!!!

When booking on the mobile app, you never see that it is only nine holes now… If you show up, expecting to play a full round, you will be disappointed. We paid a discount price understanding that the conditions at this course are notoriously subpar. But was surprised to show up and find that it was only for nine holes which doesn’t definitely not make this course. A good deal. Course staff did not show any customer service concern for the fact that the information on the app was in error & does not indicate that it is no longer 18 holes. The only thing they would do is offer us to pay an additional $40 to play the nine holes again. Had a lot of good times in this course in the past and was OK with the subpar conditions. Due to the rough course condition as well as the horrible customer service experience this was the last time we will ever play here.

Played this 9 hole course today with my wife and overall was a very good experience. Loved the course layout. Most of the greens were in decent shape. Tees in better shape than the fairways, which you are hitting off of very thin grass or sand in the fairways. Enough water to get into some trouble. Sand traps thin but are raked. Got checked into the course in the pro shop quickly and had assistance outside with getting a cart and our clubs including when finished. Do not expect a well manicured courselike others in the area, but a still fun place to play a quick 9 holes for a reasonable price.

The Worst

Worst conditions I have ever encountered on a golf course.
Tees ragged
Fairways barren
Fringe is mostly fair
Green's bumpy with large bare areas
Fringe in better condition than most greens.
Front nine is gone, back nine is all that is left and not worth playing.

NEVER AGAIN

Have played this course in the past and it has gone downhill since the first time we played. It had a lot of potential/ however, they did not keep it up. Worse yet I mistakenly booked a tee time for what I thought was 18 holes. This course has always been 18 holes and was 18 holes as late as December 2023, so there was no reason for me to expect otherwise. In any case upon arrival we discovered that they only had 9 holes now so our value was significantly less. In any case the conditions of the 9 holes was pitiful. If I was to pay full price for this course and find the conditions we found I would be highly dissatisfied. I will not be back.

Seascape remodel

Seascape Golf Course is being renovated to condos where the front 9 holes were. They haven’t done much maintenance to the back 9 holes. Hardly any grass in fairways and the tee boxes haven’t been groomed for a long time. The greens need mowing and rolling. The cart paths need to be replaced. I know they are going to make it a 18 hole par 3 course but they could at least put some effort to fix the course up. Charging $39 is way to much for this course!

only a 9 hole course

Disappointed that the course is now only 9 holes. If we had known that the front nine holes would be closed, we would have played somewhere else.
