There are five championship courses available at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in west Miami, all boasting PGA Tour-quality. It is no wonder that Doral is one of south Florida's premier golfing destinations. While each course has a different character and style, they all provide a challenge. The Great White and Blue Monster are arguably the most challenging of the five golf courses but the other three are far from easy. PGA Tour player Raymond Floyd redesigned the Gold Course, giving it a more traditional Florida layout. The course features tree-lined fairways and gently contoured greens, both of which are framed by strategic bunkering. Water also has a prominent role on this course, coming into play on 16 holes. Doral's Gold Course finishes with its most memorable water hole, a dramatic par 4 with an island green.
