Challenging course
This is a "Target golf" course with lots of water and obstacles. The course is challenging, and some of the holes are very confusing. A couple of the holes had hitting mats in the tee box instead of grass..unclear why. Greens were generally in good condition
Staff is friendly and the facility has good off course amenities.
The price was very good by today's standards. I would repeat
Greens were good, fairways not so good and luckily the slowest fivesome in front of us only played nine.
Not a fan
I don't like this course. I play here in a league, rarely play here any other time. I don't like the layout. The course was redesigned several years ago, and the old layout was more interesting. The greens are in poor shape. The fairways are nothing but hardpan. One of the guys i ended up partnering with referred to it as a goat track and said he wouldn't play there again. On a positive note the staff i have meant are nice.
Very poor value and very poor course - stay away !
All areas of this course were quite bad - thin fairways, sandy/bare tee boxes, diseased greens, poor bunkers and a confusingly poor layout. I would never come here again
People Need to Practice on a Driving Range
I get it, its a city course, middle of the day, filled with seniors and retired folks. Thankfully the price was great. But my front 9 took 2 hours and 25 minutes. Not because the course was hard or long, only 6,000 yards from the tips. But because the groups (and I could see many), would hit 2, 3 and 4 tee shots each time. They were giving each other lessons, and it obviously was not working. And I hate when people are on a par 4 green in 7, and they take time to line up their 3rd putt. That is Florida!
Solid for the price
We play here alot. Course is much dryer than it has been. Needs some rain or heavy watering especially in the fairways . Still playable for sure. Greens are in descent shape but not as nice as they have been. Some of it is the players not fixing their pitch marks and dragging their feet. I enjoy playing here and the course isn’t expensive so I will continue to play here assuming the conditions stay at least where they are now .
Condition and layout poor
The Fairway condition was poor. Very little grass. It looked like it had not been watered which may have been the issue since there had not been much rain recently. The front nine greens were in poor condition the back nine were much better. Of course has a number of holes where you're teeing off right next to the green which is a little disconcerting when people are hitting into the green. I haven't played many links courses so that may have been the issue.
Good course
We like playing here. Pace was good. Course is in good condition.
Pace of play sucks!
A ranger is needed when a twosome drops 4 holes behind foresomes and act like it is ok!!!
Blind shots
Really disappointed in the course as the greens were lovely and the fairways firm even after all the rain the day before!
To many blind tee shots with water hazards ! The first time I've played here so some guidance via a course guide book or the outline of the holes easier to see on the score card would of been ideal!
So because of that I will not be going back ! The club is to cheap to offer course guide books like so many others now a days ! Lay up on the tee shots !!
Would rather drive the extra 10 mins and play a different course
Nice course
I always enjoy playing here. Staff is always very friendly and the course is in good shape.
Always enjoy this course
Fun course, with some holes I still don’t know how to play. Well maintained and a great alternative from more expensive and lesser courses near Orlando.
