Hidden Hills is a private country club unsurpassed in natural beauty with rolling terrain and stately pine and oak trees. Founded in 1965 and completely redesigned by Arnold Palmer in 1986, the course is just 20 minutes from downtown in the secluded Fort Caroline area. The club played host to the Greater Jacksonville Open, the forerunner of what is now the Tournament Players Championship where Gary Player, Tony Jacklin and Don January were winners. Hidden Hills maintains a reputation as one of the most challenging golf courses in North Florida. The layout, with numerous elevation changes and tree-lined fairways place a premium on shot placement in order to score.
The signature hole is #11, a 612-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to an island green.
