Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Very nice course
This was a very nice course. There is some cart path construction that made it somewhat confusing where to go. Some of the rough is bad. Fairways were well maintained. A couple of rough greens but overall we were very satisfied with the course. Would definitely play here again
Bent Creek Needs Work
Well here’s my personal assessment of Bent Creek. - Not worth the drive from Trailmark as the course is not in good condition many tees and greens are in rough shape and way too many Quirky holes for my liking. Personally I played fair on front nine and absolutely horrendous on the back nine. The foursome I was in two of us had never played the course before and the other two had played the course regularly but the other two folks (one man and one woman) played the Red tees while I played the Black. While the cost was reasonable it is not enough to encourage me to play there on a regular basis. Took an hour to get there and an hour and twenty minutes to get home. Just not worth it. I would rather play Eagle Landing and Eagle Harbor.
Bent Creek could be great
Very good, challenging layout. But conditioning was sub-par. Greens were slow and a bit beat up. Tees could use some more grass. Cement cart paths broken up in many places.
Good grass range and chipping/putting practice areas.
Nice course
Second time playing and was just as enjoyable as the first time
Bent Creek Round
Nice round at BC. Needs a little TLC, but nice course. Driving range needs spruced up.
Cloudy Winter Day
Teamed up with another twosome for a four hour 20 minute round. Course and greens in pretty good condition for the winter. Putted true, held approach shots well.
nice layout
Greens are in great shape course a little wet but very playable staff is very friendly
Tees were in poor condition
I couldn’t find one tee all day that had any grass. I really like this course and layout so hoping in a month or two grass starts to grow where you expect it too. Also very tough to pitch/chip due to grass dormancy.
Wait 2 months
Friendly staff, great, layout and fun course. But, by the looks of it, it appears the course needs to grow some grass before you can actually enjoy the course. There was a lot of mud, a lot of thin areas, and a lot of the greens didn’t have much grass on them. You could tell efforts were being made to put the course in a good direction, but right now, it needs some love and attention. I would check back in a couple of months after the grass grows, and the sun is out for a good amount of time to help promote the growth of grass.
