Formerly known as Diamond Player's Club, the course has already earned its reputation as Florida's Mountain Golf Course with its 270 feet of elevation throughout. You will swear you are in Scotland as there are no parallel fairways, significant elevation throughout, a little bit of water, and a lot of natural areas. There are 5 sets of tees that fit all skill levels. The greens will be quick year around but are not tricked up like most of the Florida courses. The most unique layout in Florida.

One of the most interesting features of the course is the unbelievable changes in elevation throughout the golf course. With 190 feet of overall elevation change, and the highest elevation point on the course of 260 feet, Florida's Mountain Course provides scenic views and a 7000 yard championship design. Golf Course architect Terrill LaGree, known for his work as original project manager/developer of Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida, has created yet another gem to add to his collection, but this time it is just a little closer to home. Water comes into play on seven of the eighteen holes and natural sands provide picturesque bunkering throughout the entire course.
