One of the top ten courses in Florida resides just east of the small town of Citrus Springs. El Diablo is a visually impressive golf course. The intricacies of landscape and the richness of modulation, particularly near the greens, takes longer to absorb than there is time for. This course features fast, undulating greens and several elevated holes. The fairways are narrow, however, generous landing areas are a saving grace. "Golf Digest" selected it as the "Best New Affordable" course for 1999. More than 100 varieties of vegetation are featured on the lush course, highlighted by statuesque, mature oaks. Every hole offers exhibits of flowers and varieties of plant life. It lines and crosses fairways, appears in bunkers, and frames shots. El Diablo is distinctive and vivid. Do visit this course.
