IMG Academy Golf Club

First time playing the IMG course for my wife and I. I play to a 14 and found the course very challenging especially approaching the greens with some tight pin placements. Course is very deceptive in its difficulty. The sand traps around the greens provide difficult shots to the greens. Greens were very smooth and fast. Fairways were in beautiful condition. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for someplace in the Sarasota area. Definitely will play here ag

I haven’t played here in many years but didn’t remember how nice the layout is. Well maintained too.

Greens are good and fair

I played here a couple of years ago and haven't been back since the prices have escalated. Conditions have deteriorated since I last played. The green were fine but not much grass on the tees and sketchy with lots of weeds in the fairways. For the price, they really should improve the conditions. I got the special Hot deal but their normal $100+ round is way too much for this course.

I am in Sarasota several times a year. one of a few courses,I look forward to playing when I’m down here.

Course was decent but not in great shape. Paying over $100 seems high for the track and conditions. People were excellent though!

It’s a good golf course with great greens .Fairways had a lot of grass, more than other Florida courses in April.
My wife and I were paired with another couple which was great. For some unknown reason the starter put a 2 some out in front and behind us.
The 2 in front was about 4 holes behind at the end and even in a 4some we waited on pretty much every hole while the 2 behind was pushing us the entire round. Such a solvable problem.
I loved when the starter asked the 2 ladies if they were going to play the “ladies T” when they walked to the gold block.
They are both low handicaps.
The practice/area and warmup area is excellent.
We had a great day and I would definitely play there again when I return to this area.

Did a shotgun start that they apparently do on Tuesdays. Started on hole 12, had some kids sneak out ahead of our group and some IMG students ahead of them that held us up for nine holes but once they left we cruised through the final nine holes. Beautiful course, greens are beautiful.

Waited on every single shot, can we say brutal!!! Can't get a rhythm it's a joke for such an expensive place, I can see that on county courses, but there is unacceptable for the price.

Course was in great condition from start to finish.

Practice facility was fantastic. Nice layout, greens were fast and true…not for the high handicap.
Every hole had something to offer, one of the best I’ve played in the area.

Some marshals might have helped but it was a very slow round
