One of two championship golf courses at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort, the Miller Course sits just off the ocean in the master-planned community of Aventura near Miami. The course was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1971, but a complete overhaul of the golf courses and resort was performed in 2007. Raymond Floyd redesigned the courses and moved 700,000 cubic yards of dirt to create a gently rolling, sand- and water-filled course. Compared to the resort's demanding Soffer Course, the Miller is a shorter, more player-friendly test with three sets of tees. Both courses are private and offer tee times to guests of the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort.
