Description
Set 9,500 feet above sea level, Telluride Golf Course is a mountain resort course surrounded by the highest concentration of 14,000 foot mountains in the United States. When playing this par-70, 6,574-yard course, normally short hitters will find the altitude creates less resistance during ball flight, translating to 15 percent more distance. Telluride Golf Course was constructed in 1992 and serves as a private club for members as well as a public course for locals and guests. Golf lessons and clinics are available from PGA Professionals.
