Management needs to be replaced

Have played this course for several year and the current management of the
pro shop is ---pathetic. Great location, course and facilities but the pro shop manager
needs to find a new home. Abrupt and discourses in every way. Doubled the fees and that is part of the reason they have very few players.

Stay & Play

Great place for a buddies golf trip. Best deal is to stay and play for 2 nights and 3 days. Price will include unlimited play and it is easy to get in 36. The cabins are decent, food is basic, drinks are strong; there is big common area to BBQ and mellow out. Very peaceful. The only thing wrong with the course are the sandtraps- they are in woeful condition. Best to simply agree among selves to drop outside the bunker as they are filled with gravel and rocks. The greens are subject to typical high country winter damage and one needs to be understanding thereof (for the price).

Great Mountain Course!

Living in Colorado, my son and I have had the opportunity to play a lot of mountain courses. The Golf Club at Fox Acres ranks right up there with the best. It's a challenging course with beautiful vistas and scenery. Only situation we had was the fact that there was no water in the coolers through out the entire course. Really put a damper on our day! We would relish the chance to play the course again, but the next time, we would bring our own cooler of water.

Hidden Colorado Gem!

If you enjoy mountain golf, or want to beat the summer heat, this course is a must play. Built as a private, country club course, it is now open to the public. The staff is welcoming and helpful, the course presents a fair challenge for all ability levels, and the views are spectacular. Stay and play is easiest, logistically, but the course is no more than an hour drive from Fort Collins. Highly recommended!
