Pace
The pace of play was atrocious. 1 hour and 5 minutes after hitting teeing off on hole 1, we were just halfway down the fairway on hole 3. We finished the front 9, and then rain checked the second 9, and will never play this course on a weekend or holiday again. My time was obviously NOT respected by the course.
Good day
A lot of par 3s good iron play, greens rolled amazing fairways were rewarding. Excellent value. Fun to hit range balls into the water - cool touch.
Good Executive Course
This is a nice executive course to play to test out your irons.
Great Day
Played at 9:36am. Many golfers on course. Played in 4hrs. Course is in Great shape. Greens prefect.
good day
Enjoyed the course and the people in our group. It was in as good condition as I have seen and pace of play was 3+ hours.
Will have to do it again soon.
Worth playing
Course is usually in very good condition. For an executive course it offers plenty of challenge. The greens are well kept and are straight forward to read. A great course for players of all ability. Staff is friendly and the practice area is fun with hitting balls into the water on the range and an extremely undulating putting green. A good value for the price comparatively
Staff
I have been to this course several times & enjoy the layout, especially for an executive course. Unfortunately, the last few times I have been there an individual at the check-in counter has been extremely rude. When I arrived, the individual was yelling at someone on the phone - so much so that I couldn’t even hear the other individual speaking to me. Then the ‘yeller’ got involved with my conversation & was extremely rude to me as well. I told the person I can find another place to play. Not the best way to start a round!
Hidden Gem
This course is awesome! It's always is great shape! Tough/long par-3s. If you can shoot a good score here, you'll shoot a good score anywhere. I feel the regular green fees are a little high, so I typically wait for a "Hot Deal" on GolfNow.
Little Augusta
This course is always in excellent condition. I would put it up against any course in the Denver Metro area. Don't be deceived by the total yardage; it plays longer than you think. Par 3's over 220 yards and 4's and 5's that play longer because of heavy penalty if you get greedy and try to cut the corners and don't pull it off.
This course is challenging, but still fun if you play within your limits. Not many golfers accustomed to "regulation courses" can shoot their handicap on this "executive course". Play it a few times and your par 72 course will seem easy.
