Unreal setting

Went as a guest. I have played this course a number of times through connections, and it is one of my favorite courses I have ever played, and I've played a lot of the heavy hitters (Pebble, Whistling, Old Course, Sawgrass....etc). The 2 things that set it apart are 1. The setting. It's unbelievable. The views are forever, and you're just out there all alone, in your little slice of heaven. I could hear myself breathe it was so peaceful, and the mountain rages are awe inspiring. 2. The 2 nines. It's almost like playing 2 different courses, which makes it that much more memorable. The front 9 is up in the high alpine and almost has a links feel along with these huge views and elevation changes you get from traditional mountain golf. But then the back 9 follows Brush Creek and much of it is tree-lined so you get this parkland target golf setting but you're still surrounded by mountains. It's amazing. This is one of the most poorly run private courses in the country. The location is beautiful but that is where it ends. Looks elsewhere!
