Park Hill Golf Club
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for the 2019 and 2020 season.
The golf course at Park Hill Golf Club is a regulation length 18-hole course that is open to the public. It is 7,268 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. Clark Hamilton designed the course that opened in 1931. The course is relatively flat and features many bunkers. In later renovations to the course, over one hundred trees were planted to liven and enrich the landscape. A lake provides water hazards that come into play on two of Park Hill Golf Club's holes. The well-kept course is good for beginners or for any level of golfer who is looking to get some good practice.

Early Spring Golf
This is a great course to get warmed up and hone your game. Not much trouble (you can't get out of), with wide fairways, mature trees and very few water hazards. Pace is good even when course is full. Especially enjoyable for seniors and high handicappers.
If you haven't played Park Hill, I highly recommend you do, soon!
Cheers!
Park Hill in March
Decent place to get an early round in, and shake off the winter rust. You know you can show up at Park Hill with one golf ball and be good for the day. Lots of beginners on the course, which is fine. But keep your eyes open, as the lack of golf etiquette is pervasive. We had groups on adjacent fairways hit their slices within 10 yards of us a couple times, but never a "fore" was heard. And bring a bottle of water or two. On an 80 degree Saturday, there is no beverage cart, and no water at the drinking stations, or in the ball washers or in the towel buckets.
Very conveinent to get to and enjoyable to play
Good value for the money, located with good access and movement of play was outstanding. Will play there again
February golf!
No complaint's here. Had an awesome day! The course was in great shape for winter!
Winter golf.
Greens were in good shape. Pace of play was good. Course has changed new par 3's added nice challenge.
Golf in Denver in December - 60 degrees, no wind and bright blue sky....
It couldn't have been more perfect. A+++++++ A beautiful day, good friend, and we actually played very well...His 78 after hip surgery, my 91 when my goal is to break 100 :)
Good overall winter golf
For playing in December the course was still green and in very good shape. I had not played here in a while and was very surprised by the good course conditions. This course has definitely improved from the last time that I played it. For the price this course is an excellent value for winter golf experience. I started at 12:00 and was done by 3:30 well before the sun went down and the cold set in. Overall for winter golf Park Hill proved to be a very good value and experience.
Good December Golf
Course in good shape for this time of the year. Greens are rolling good
Course under construction
Staff is very unfriendly. Couple of holes under construction but for the price at $19.99, what can I say.
Slow play!!
Took 5 hours to play. There was a tournament being played and the staff didn't even attempt to keep people playing at a decent pace. If you want to have a good course you have to have a clue how to keep people from jamming the course up. There were 8 carts on one tee box at one point on the back nine.
Park hill
Great course to play, it had been 40 years since I played there and I really enjoyed the day.
Nice Course
Super nice staff very nice course Bought a beer brauts and it was cold as well as the bun the food was not good quality
Great Value and fun to play
The course is in excellent condition for a public course in part due to the amount of rain we have had in Denver. The greens were really nice, even and soft for landings. We played an extra 9+ holes for $10 each and the weather got better with every hour. Good course for beginners and fun for others especially on the weekdays.
Good course for Denver
Pretty good course especially for the money, great pace of play!
Fun!
Park Hill is an easy layout in excellent condition. Very relaxing and enjoyable day with my friend.
Slow....
I always love golfing at park hill. Just be prepared to be there for a long time...no ranger means rounds take a long time. Had a group in front of us with a young player (no big deal), but whose dad thought he could drive the par 4s...needless to say his drives barely cleared the red tees. In general, very poor golf etiquette at this course. My playing partner walked off after 13 holes. Course is great, just bring an extra sleeve of patience...
Great deal on GN usually
Fun course to play if you can a good deal on golf now. Usually 20 bucks for 18 with cart so it's like why not. Not too much difficulty to the course considering it's straight straight straight. Again for a city course and if you can find the right price definitely worth playing
Decent value but pretty basic layout
The course layout is pretty basic and flat with very few hazard challenges. Extremely flat. The greens were in very good condition but relatively slow compared to most courses I play.
The front nine is far more open then the back and certainly longer. The fairways, for the most part were In decent shape with a couple holes that should have had some "ground under repair" designations.
There was virtually no distinction between a first cut or secondary cut of rough. I felt that the rough was cut pretty long. Perhaps this is done since the layout has few designed hazards.
If you miss the fairway you certainly are penalized by the length of rough.
All in all, the course is worth playing for the price paid. Expect a moderate course for a moderate price.
great city course
2" of rain the prior day. Course was fine and firm by 12 noon with only a few area that where marked off by grounds crew. Green were cut in AM even with that much rain, nice surprise there.
