Best golf course
I played golf for 3years and I been all different courses but this course are the best
Unique layout
Great pace of play on the front nine. A threescore playing nine holes was started on number 10 just as we were finishing number 9. This slowed play on the back nine.
This course is a Tad “Gimmicky” but always great place to play love the layout tough fun course worth the drive from the Springs in
Foursome at Fourmile
We played a 2on2 scramble had a blast. The pro shop comp’d us a bucket of balls. Staff was extremely nice. Course was in great shape. No mosquitos this time of year.
A Great Value
The course is nice, but not in great condition. But for the price I paid, it was a real bargain.
Funky course
3rd time playing there, 1st time this year.
Check-in lady and the starter were both very friendly and informative.
Course is very green and looks great. Greens definitely fuzzy and need dethatched so they were rolling slow, but everything was green and the course is a wild layout, but don't fear the undulating greens. If you put your ball in a decent spot, you have a great chance of it funneling towards the pin.
Beautiful Course!
The layout is fantastic! Many blind shots make it difficult for playing the first time but still a lot of fun. The undulation on the greens was impressive!
Slower play than I would have expected for middle of a Tuesday and the greens were pretty fuzzy.
Fun and unique
This was a fun outing. This was my first time doing “desert golf.”
The pros: a really fun and interesting layout. The greens were super undulated but holes were cut into funneled areas which usually helped you get it close if you were somewhat on the correct area of the green. No bunkers or tree trouble. Fairways and greens were green and in good shape. There are some tremendous views and elevation changes.
Cons: greens are very long and slow but made for an easy 2 putt on each hole. I’m sure it is designed this way with a lack of water in mind. There are several blind shots into greens (and a par 3). There are a couple holes with a 90 degree dogleg on approach of a par 5. If you miss the grass, you probably aren’t playing the shot and probably aren’t finding your ball. Bring lots of balls or play lots of irons off tees.
All that being said, it was super fun and unique and was in great shape.
Fun Course
Great winter course...probably fun in the summer too. Grass is dormant because of winter but the greens are still receptive and roll true. Pace of play for me has been great. I will be coming down from the Springs every weekend till spring time.
What a Course!
Amazing track, great place to escape the cold and snow up north! Can’t wait to be back!
Great Value
Rated 5 stars overall because you can’t beat the value. I’ve played here 4 times and most recent is the best I’ve seen course conditions in spite of it being 11 November and having snowed over night.
Layout gets knocks by some for quirky blind shots and some crazy green contours. Also, there is no clubhouse and the practice area leaves much to be desired. But when snow and cold temps come in to Colorado Springs for winter…4-Mile is my go to for finding a little warmer, drier conditions and a chance to get some fun rounds. Yeah the course has a couple goofy holes…but it is a lot of fun to play and there are views that go on forever on clear days!
Great course, great staff
Large interesting greens. Fun par 3's. Great tee off overlooks. Easy to lose and find balls if you miss the fairways.
