Great conditions and fun
Played on perfect fall afternoon - there had been a tournament that morning, so greens were very fast. With the exception of 2 or 3 holes, pretty easy to figure out where to play. Course conditions were ideal. Fairways and greens were outstanding. Nice practice range.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Views were spectacular. Pace of play was very good.
too slow
Nice course, but takes too long to play.
8:30 tee time took 5 hours. Shoot me!
Can't imagine how long it took the later groups.
Ranger needs to jump on those first groups!
Great Course
Great little course, challenging but not impossible, fast greens, slight pace of play issues but that’s everywhere. Highly recommend.
Good test of golf
SaddleRock is always challenging. Course is very good shape. Weeds need to be cut off the fairway. It can slow down play.
Dry and fast
Hit this course in early April when the course was dry and the greens were slippery fast. I couldn't keep the ball on the greens. Love the course though. Highly recommend the challenge.
Staff was absolutely horrible!!!!!
I book Saturday's so my wife or one of the kids can get on the course and we can bond over the experience and for them to possibly get the golf bug and want to play themselves! After booking the round and driving 45 minutes to the course I was condescendingly told no riders!!! I even offered to pay for an extra round and again was rudely informed that it wasn't an option. So, no golf, no refund, no apology!! I will not be booking here anytime soon.
Winter Rust
Course is not in the best shape right now but we are coking off a hard winter. Came out to play Easter Sunday on a 70 degree day so you know it’s busy. No water for patrons on the course. At least have your marshals have jugs on there cart if your not putting water out yet. Overall very displeased with the conditions of the greens. Looked like they had some winter kill on them. Very bumpy and almost unplayable. Hope they can bring the course back to life this spring.
Great Course, Unfriendly Staff
I'd like to start off by saying the staff as a whole was very nice with the exception of one older guy in the clubhouse.
I brought my girlfriend with me to ride along as we were on vacation in the area. When we arrived, there was a sign on the clubhouse door saying only 2 carts would be given out per group with no exceptions. This information was not given anywhere on the website or on the phone when I booked. When I asked if she would be able to ride along with me, this guy immediately said no, directing me to the sign as if I didn't know how to read. Fortunately, there was another guy in the clubhouse who said there would be a couple of extra carts that day so she would be able to ride along for a fee which is what I expected.
Aside from the unpleasant first impression, the course itself was amazing, especially for a muni. The fairways and rough were green and lush, the greens were lightning quick and rolled true. There were some really fun and interesting holes and I would love to come back here, but am wary of having to deal with the mess in the clubhouse.
