Since first opening in 1960, Peacock Gap Golf Club has undergone a series of renovations that has turned it into the enjoyable and challenging layout that exists today. Over the years, the greens have been reshaped and undulated and numerous sand bunkers were either added or relocated. The layout has an interesting variety of holes including short par 4s and reachable par 5s. The greens are challenging and the fairways are well maintained. Mature trees come into play along the fairways and there are also water hazards to watch out for. Pin placement is the key to doing well on this golf course. The terrain is mostly flat, making it a great walking course. Peacock Gap has a decent amount of length but it is still a manageable round that can be played in just over three hours.
