The Links at Spanish Bay is Pebble Beach's answer to the coastal golf courses of Scotland. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Tom Watson and former USGA President Sandy Tatum, the majority of the golf course was built along the dunes of the Monterey Peninsula coastline, with coastal plants and ample views of the Pacific Ocean. Wind, bunkering and large undulating greens on many of The Links at Spanish Bay's holes encourage players to hit the low, running shots played on traditional links courses.
