Marriott Desert Springs Resort has hosted a variety of both celebrities and golf pros since opening in 1987. Its two golf courses, the Palm and the Valley, were both designed by Ted Robinson and share a stunning backdrop provided by the Santa Rosa Mountains. The Valley Course is only slightly shorter than the Palm. It is a player-friendly layout with hardly any narrow fairways but there are plenty of other challenges in store. Water comes into play frequently throughout the course as do towering bunkers that require both good strategy and accuracy. There is a particularly challenging water hole that features an island green. As you play along the lush, rolling fairways be sure to take in the beautiful scenery that the course offers. In addition to the championship courses, the resort also has an 18-hole putting course available called the Green.
