Good shape
Corse is nice and well kept
We were not informed tha there was 2 holes close for work
I think we should of been told before we got there
14 holes…
When we arrived at the pro shop, we were told 4 holes were closed. Neither Golf Now or the golf course website advised we could play only 14 holes. Very disappointed. No discount were offered other than the price advertised on GN.
It’s a fun course . The staff is very friendly. My only complaint is that currently as of Feb 4th 2024 the course only as 14 holes available as 4 holes are under reconstruction. This was not at all disclosed on Golf now. We did not find this out until we got to the course and by then it was too late to find another option. I would suggest that you find out if the damaged holes have been repaired if you want to play a full 18 holes.
I did call Golf Now and told them of the issues and they were good about giving me a future credit. Just an FYI.
The course only has 14 holes
It would have been nice to let us know the course only had 14 holes open and 4 holes unplayable.. We didn’t find out until we checked in. I do not recommend this course at this point in time
4 holes closed and no warning
The course itself was good but extremely upset with that we showed up and told that 4 holes were closed due to flooding damage. The course itself compensated us by giving us a free golf clubs rental but that the booking website should have alerted to this
Love course; 4 holes closed
We play this course always when visiting in winter months. Beautiful course. We'll maintained.
At check-in, we were informed 4 of 18 holes closed indefinitely. A little late to make a change for the day. Pro shop said they've told GolfNow about this, but we had no idea. For the price, we would have played elsewhere.
Four Holes Are Unplayable
We booked at the Santa Rosa course and upon arriving found that 4 holes are unplayable due to recent floods. They have a sister course called the San Geogiano and the staff was very helpful in getting us booked at that course which was undamaged by the floods and only a few minutes away.
The San Georgiano course was in excellent condition and a good value. The only issue may have been the greens while in great shape had a bit of inconsistency in their speed with most slower than expected.
4 holes closed
Four holes were closed due to flood damage. We were not aware of this until part way through the round. I contacted GolfNow the next day and received a partial credit. Otherwise, Santa Rosa is one of our favourite courses.
Yikes
So I should mention that the course would be amazing if golf now knew that holes 4-7 were closed due to excessive rain and a water line issue. Call the course before booking
Extremely Dishonest Place
Book on GN and advertised as a "Hot Deal" for $120. No big deal. Get to the course in Sun City, shop guy seems okay, asks if its our first time - it is. Says welcome, but did we know it was only a 14 hole course? Replied we did not, he said GN should have told us. They did not and had it as a "Hot Deal". Did not offer any discount and I asked about getting my money back, and he said I would have to go through GN - lot's of luck there!!! Played the Front 5 and got to 10 to find a back up of The Niners - a 9 hole mens group that goes off 10. Nobody told us, and it ended up taking about 3 hours to play the back 9. Turns out the course has been down 2-4 holes since September. No indication on the website, only tell you after you have paid. Golf Now should be ashamed of themselves and we should receive credit for this round. Will never go back to this place again, and doubt I will use Golf Now in the future. Total deception on their part!
Lovely Course
Always love this course but sad to see it in such a weather damaged condition. The back nine is in great shape but four and one half holes closed on the front nine and looks like it will be awhile before they will be playable. Front nine cart path only.
Greens in good condition. Hoping they can get it back in shape soon (without anymore rain).
Holes 4 and 5 closed due to flooding
TeeOff, GolfNow and course does not mention holes 4 and 5 closed due to flooding from ruptured water line. Won’t be fixed until March they say but didn’t know until I showed up. Rest of course excellent condition but keep in mind you’ll only get to play 16 holes. Friendly staff and good service.
16 holes
Golf pass did not disclose the the fact that holes 4&5 were closed due to previous weather. Should be noted before booking. Other areas of the course were bare due to water damage. Lay out was good with challenging par 3s from the gold tees. Will try again next year
Wonderful staff
The pro shop ladies were really nice, as was the marshall, and the guys that took our cart. Unfortunately, two holes were unplayable due to damage. But, after asking nicely, we got the twilight rate instead of the day rate, so it worked out. Greens were substandard, but that might be just time of year waiting for grass to grow.
