The Wilson Golf Course is one of two 18-hole, public courses at Griffith Park. In total, the park encompasses four golf courses. The Wilson course, named after President Woodrow Wilson, is fairly open with tight fairways lined with trees.
The well-kept course has small greens and although it is smaller than Griffith Park's other 18-hole course, Harding, the layout requires more accurate shots due to water hazards and bunkers that come into play on some holes. Its location within the park makes it ideal for families since the Los Angeles Zoo, Planetarium Observatory, and the Gene Autry Western Museum can also be found in Griffith Park. It's a busy golf course, so there might be some waiting if you don't call ahead.
