The Westchester Golf Course is a public course that has several par-3 and par-4 holes ranging from 110 yards to 350 yards, as well as sand bunkers that make it a great place for beginning golfers to work on their game.
The golf course is situated right next to LAX, so occasionally loud noises from planes can disturb the game. The course is relatively flat and it also has a somewhat awkward length, making it difficult to gauge whether to walk the course or use a cart. The Westchester course has great hours, open until the fairway and green lights turn off, which is usually between 9:30 and 10 p.m.
