The South Golf Course at Los Angeles Country Club is one of two 18-hole, private courses at the famously exclusive club. The course, as well as L.A. C.C.'s North Course, is considered by many to be one of the best golfing experiences in California. Wilshire Boulevard separates the North Course from the South Course.
If you are lucky enough to already be a member or you manage to get an invitation, the course provides some of the most scenic golfing in Southern California and a challenging game with its hilly terrain that requires a bit of strategy with your shot. The meticulously well-kept course is close to the club's restaurant, which is touted to serve excellent food.
