Roosevelt Municipal Golf Course is a nine-hole, executive length course that is in the same area as Griffith Park in Los Angeles. The hilly golf course has an excellent layout that is ideal for beginners but it also features hazards and dogleg fairways that would provide a good game for any skill level.
The greens are medium-sized and fast and all the fairways are tree-lined and quite narrow. The 2nd hole is a particularly challenging par-4 and on the 7th hole, a difficult sand bunker comes into play. The scenery from the course is spectacular, offering views of the L.A. skyline and Griffith Observatory. The golf course has very reasonable fees that are reduced further during the summer season.
