Description
The North Course at Los Angeles, touted as one of the best in southern California, is a private, 18-hole golf course that has a prime location in the heart of L.A.'s most valuable real estate area. This exclusive course is a popular choice because of the picturesque scenery and challenging day of golf it provides. George Thomas, who designed this course and also the Bel-Air Country Club course, used the hilly terrain to make a strategic and unique golfing experience.
The highlights of the course are the 3rd hole, which has difficult rolling slopes and the 7th hole, which at almost 240 yards requires a near perfect tee. The prime location of the North Course provides interesting views during your game, past the 13th green is the Playboy Mansion and the 11th hole, a difficult par-3 reverse-Redan, has the L.A. skyline as a backdrop.
