First Time Play After New Management
The course was in great shape. The maintenance crew was very respectful of pace of play. Practice range in great shape. My only complaint was the price for a midweek 9 holes. I didn’t use any discount sites and the price for myself as a senior and my two boys was $93 with two carts and a small bucket of balls. I would recommend this course for casual golfers as being competitive with others in the area.
On time
The pro shop attendant Tony was great got us right out on time had a great round
Much Improved
The city course has never been supported by the city council. It is low on their list of priorities.
Since Tom Ringer and his team started management of the course there have been many improvements. The greens are best they have ever been.
Need better time management
Went on a Saturday as a solo player, had a sixsome in front of us with a fivesome in front of them. Took almost 3 hours to get through front 9, not sure why big groups are allowed to go together when it seems the course is being strict on certain issues now. Would like to see a marshall out regulating more to make things go smoother while playing. Also, the course needs to figure out a way to handle the high school team during the week, as a paying customer i should not be told by the high school golf advisor to wait for a group of 5 to finish a hole so they can pass me, the course staff should be in charge of handling that. Staff also needs to work on being friendlier, given attitude by the girl at the snack bar for wanting to order is not ok.
Needs some more work
Good course but could be a lot better with some care. Sand (or dirt) traps need some work! Sand instead of dirt! Only course I play where I won’t hit out of a sand trap!!

Fairways are garbage and chunky tee boxes last but not least super slow greens!

Be aware!
On the weekends this course allows FIVEsomes, so keep that in mind if you are looking to have a speedy round. I played as a solo and was stuck behind a fivesome who themselves were also stuck behind another fivesome as well.
Great course
The course is in great shape considering we’re in a drought. It has a very challenging layout with front nine resembling a traditional shape and the back nine a links style.
Great Staff and fun course.
Been playing here for a while now and always enjoy my day on the course. The course PGA Pro, Tom Ringer, is always friendly and very approachable as is the staff in the clubhouse and snack bar.
Getting Better
Fairways are starting to green up. 50/50 between decent and thin lies. Greens are still healing from aeration earlier this month. They are about the same as Madera right now in that they need another 2 weeks before being healed. Having said that, I’ve seen the greens here in much worse condition during “normal” operation. There’s a temp green on hole 4
Course is definitely in better shape than when I last played here a couple months ago

Golf Lemoore
Paid too much to play a punched course, and to play the front 9 twice. I would have rather of went and played a mini golf course.
