Indian Wells Golf Resort offers two 18-hole championship courses, the Celebrity Course and the Players Course. The resort has the distinction of being the only 36-hole facility with both golf courses on Golfweek's list of the 20 best courses to play in California. Although the courses were built around the same time and they share the same design quality, they have enough contrast to provide a completely different round on each. Indian Wells' Players Course has a traditional American layout that is known for its carefully sculpted bunkering and generous, player-friendly fairways. The design incorporates the landscape's abundant trees, providing a sense of seclusion on each hole. There are no homes or roads intruding into the game either. In addition to the two golf courses, there is also a nine-hole putting course at Indian Wells.
