Great Greens
This is a challenging 9 hole course that plays just under 3000 yards. It has 3 par 3's and 3 par 5's, The greens were in great condition but the fairways were good on some holes and bad on others. The sand traps were not in good shape, For someone wanting to play nine it is a reasonably good value. It is a fairly forgiving course.
Nice course and pace of play is good
Only nine holes, but nicely laid out and in very good condition.
This course has to be the best all round experience for value and friendly staff in the valley.
This course has to be the best value for all round experience for challenge, course quality, and staff friendly in the valley.
Very Friendly Staff and beautiful course.
I played Nov 20, 2013. Staff very friendly as well as owner who personally greeted us. Gave us a few tips on the course and we got out before our T-time. Not crowded at all and finished right at 4 hours. It is a nine hole course so you make two loops if you want to play 18 holes. Four tee boxes for each hole so we played a different tee second time around to mix it up. Several water hazards and a beautiful creed that goes through the 9th / 18th fairway. I will definitely play this course again and would recommend it to others.
generous fairways
played course 12 times as a foursome all enjoyed the course played from back tee enough bunkers to make access
to greens a challange .only course condition that would really need improvement is sand in bunkers is very hard
Course conditions improves every time I play
The nine hole course has a great layout with variety on every
hole. The kind of nine hole course that you don't mind playing
the second time around. Conditions keep improving.
This course is best value for the money in the valley.
This course is in a great location. The fairways have come a long way since we played here last year. The greens are challenging and in excellent shape.
Very enjoyable course
My wife and I played two rounds on this course to make it 18 holes. We thoroughly enjoyed the course which is in good condition. Pace of play was good and course was a challenge we didn't really expect. It was well worth playing at the rate we got through GolfNow. Would definitely play it again.
The greens and fairways are in great shape!
This is a very good 9 hole course and very worthwhile playing at the discounted price however due to location and playing conditions there are several other courses that are as good or better for a comparable price. Because of this course only being a 9 hole there is definetly better value out there for the off the shelf cost.
Challenging enough to keep you coming back with 12 sandtraps on one hole.
The staff are very friendly and the setting is beautiful. The course has been maintained very well and is always a favourite for us when we stay in the desert every winter. For value and enjoyment gets five stars ........... don't change a thing...it's a gem. With water and/or sand on every hole, the hazards will keep you on your toes at every turn.
A poor man's paradise
We booked this course for sixteen dollars per player, so were expecting a practice round in a cow-pasture. It's a flat course (one of the few courses around the desert you can walk if you wish), and fairly predictable, but very well maintained and a decent challenge (back tees play around 6200 with a 122 slope). Wide fairways, but plenty of places to get in trouble - lakes and well-kepter bunkers with pretty good sand. Very nice practice area (no range though). A nine-hole layout that you go around twice. It's in the "wind alley," so pick your day carefully, but for the price, it's very, very nice!
man not sure were to start
the cousre is in good good cond people are very nice its well put to gether course. you will not bet diss on the course i play there a lot it is a course the is &40 for 18 or $20 for nine but it is a $60 plus course you have to try it
For what we wanted, it was ok.
We had played several very expensive courses and just wanted to get out early for 9 holes. So that is what we did and was home by 10:00. It is not the type of course you come to the desert to play, unless you are warming up to play a more difficult course.

The New Vineyards
The course is a fun course par 35. Fairways are in decent shape and you can tell it is getting better each week. Greens are in good shape, some is excellent shape. Probably in a few weeks this course will be in pristine shape :)
A very enjoyable golfing experience
We enjoyed our round at this course and have been back many times since.
Awesome Value
I haven't played here for a couple years with the previous management/ownership. It was like playing on a totally different course. It was awesome. Friendly and helpful staff, chipping and putting green practice areas were an accurate reflection of course conditions, and the course was finely manicured. What an awesome way to end a not so awesome 2012. Thanks to the New Vinyards.
Good nine hole option for P.M.
Good little nine holes and usually not too crowded.
A great little course
The course is a nine hole course that you play twicw. There are some interesting holes where water comes into play. The greens have recently been re-seeded and are just now coming into shape. On the weekends not a lot of people play on the course which makes it easy and fast to play. I highly recommend this course for the begginer and intermediate player. It would not be that challenging for the more advanced players.
Great Course To Practice Your Game
You're not paying top dollar here so don't expect perfection. The course is shaping up after it was closed down. It's a great place to practice your game. Nobody's pushing you and there are plenty of challenges. The staff is really friendly. You play the the same nine twice but there are several tees so you can change things up. I'll definitely be back.
What happened to this course?
This is the most unprofessional course we"ve ever golfed at. Last year it looked great, played good considering it had just opened after being closed for some time. The staff was friendly and courteous. However, there were issues with price changes without notice. This year we were excited to play, but what a disappointment. The course conditions were poor, the staff rude and disorganized. I didn't recognize anyone. And the prices? What a joke, it's a 9 hole course is COACHELLA not an 18 hole in Palm Desert. Until they get real, price it accordingly, we won't be going back. SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Thanks Spyguy7 for the review and feedback. We hope to see you hit the greens at The Vineyards again soon!
