Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge boasts two championship courses designed by two of the most famous names in golf. The club is home to the Faldo Championship Course and the Palmer Signature Course. Both have been voted as a "best course you can play," by Golfweek. The Palmer Course is the longer and more challenging of the two at 7,145 yards from the back tees. The golf course is a scenic desert experience that is accented by century-old saguaro cacti. Like many of Arnold Palmer's designs, the flashed bunkering and undulating greens present memorable challenges. The putting surfaces are expansive, averaging 7,000 square feet, which allows for subtle but tricky elevation changes that will test your short game. The tough hazards on the course are nicely balanced by generous, player-friendly fairways.
